I made a port of the game Brogue to Linux.

I have a blog.

I made some changes to this site's layout.

Downfall 0.3 released!

Downfall

Downfall is a Roguelike with a hexagonal dungeon. The current version is 0.3, which you can download here. It contains windows and Linux versions. It includes a manual, and you can read the manual online if you want.

Downfall has many features common in Roguelike games, and also has some unusual features. There is no win condition yet, and it's missing several other major features. It has most of the common item types; weapons, armor, scrolls, potions, rings, and projectiles.

Downfall's most unusual features are the hexagonal dungeon and the way the dungeon wraps around. In most roguelikes, there is a barrier at the "edge" of the dungeon, which you can't travel beyond, and it's impossible to destroy that barrier. In Downfall, if you travel past one side of the dungeon, you come out on the other side. There is no way to tell when this happens.

If you have any comments, bug report, feature requests, etc, contact me by e-mail.
